Plan Activation & Validity
Plan Activation & Validity
Learn when your eSIM plan starts, how validity is calculated, and what happens when data runs out.
When does my eSIM plan start?
Most eSIM plans start when you first connect to a supported network at your destination.
This means you can install your eSIM in advance, and activation will begin only when you arrive.
How is plan validity calculated?
- Validity is measured in days (e.g., 7 days, 30 days).
- Day 1 starts when the plan is activated.
- Plans expire at the end of the final day based on local time.
Data usage rules
- Data usage is counted based on actual network consumption.
- Background apps, updates, and cloud sync may consume data.
- We recommend monitoring usage in your device settings.
What happens when data runs out?
- Once your data is used up, the eSIM will stop providing internet access.
- No automatic overcharges will occur.
- You can purchase a new plan if you need more data.
Can I use hotspot or tethering?
Hotspot availability depends on the plan and network. Most plans support personal hotspot, but performance may vary.
Important reminders
- Only use the eSIM in supported countries/regions.
- Do not delete the eSIM during the validity period.
- Keep your QR code email for reference.
