What you’ll need: Stable Wi-Fi and your eSIM QR code (from your order email).
Before you start
Check eSIM support:
- Not all Android models support eSIM, and steps vary by brand.
- Update Android: Recommended for best results.
- Use Wi-Fi: Installation requires internet.
- Do not delete the eSIM after installing.
How to install (most Android phones)
- Open Settings.
- Tap Network & Internet (or Connections).
- Select SIMs / SIM manager / Mobile network.
- Tap Add eSIM / Add mobile plan.
- Choose Scan QR code and scan your eSIM QR.
- Confirm to download and add the plan.
Brand quick paths (if you need them)
Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM → Scan QR code
Google Pixel: Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add SIM → Download a SIM instead? → Scan QR
Xiaomi / Others: Settings → SIM cards & mobile networks → Add eSIM (wording may differ)
Activate at your destination
- Turn your travel eSIM ON.
- Set Mobile data to the travel eSIM.
- Enable Data roaming for the travel eSIM (if your plan requires it).
- Wait 1–3 minutes for the network to connect.
Recommended settings

Preferred network type: Auto / 4G / 5G (Auto recommended).

APN: Usually automatic. Only change if support instructs you.
- Dual SIM: Keep your main SIM for calls/SMS, set data to travel eSIM.
Troubleshooting
1) No service / no internet
- Confirm you are in the covered destination.
- Make sure Mobile data is set to the travel eSIM.
- Enable Data roaming (if required).
- Toggle Airplane mode ON → wait 10 seconds → OFF
- Restart the phone.
2) QR code fails to add
- Try scanning from another screen/device.
- Check your camera permissions for Settings (some devices require it).
- Make sure the QR code is not expired or already used.
3) Network connects but speed is slow
- Switch airplane mode ON/OFF once.
- Try selecting network type Auto/4G.
- Move to an area with stronger signal.

Will my physical SIM still work?
Yes. Keep it for calls/SMS, and set mobile data to the travel eSIM.
